Paul Fergus is the President of Peak Performance² and has over twenty years of sales and management experience. Prior to Peak Performance², Paul held management positions at several successful computer and consulting organizations and has a BA.Sc. Honors’ Degree in Consumer Behavior, with a minor in business administration.

Paul is an entrepreneur and has built and managed three successful companies with double-digit growth. He has helped many organizations improve their levels of productivity, performance, alignment and engagement including Merck, BMS, Novartis, Industrial Alliance, Rio Tinto Alcan, Scotiabank, Roche Diagnostics, Takeda, Pfizer, The Canadian Government and CAE, to name a few.

As an internationally-known speaker, consultant, coach and facilitator, Paul delivers powerful programs on team effectiveness, leadership, motivation, sales, customer service and communications. Paul is a trusted advisor and coach for a number of leaders and he works with them in a hands-on way to ensure that they get the results they are looking for.

He is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS). He is also the author of the DYNAMIX and Team Performance Assessments and the Sales, Service and Leadership Performance programs. Peak Performance 2 has been helping teams internationally to exceed expectations for over 20 years with its core team of consultants and its global team of distributor partners.

Following business administration studies at Concordia University, Michel Zarbatany-Hamel was responsible for establishing ICI Pharmaceuticals (Astra-Zeneca Pharma) in the province of Quebec. As General Manager, he was responsible for the development of overall business strategies including the implementation of a customized training program. He was also instrumental in the start-up of Nordisk Canada (Connaught Novo Nordisk) in Eastern Canada. During his tenure at Nordisk Canada, his key responsibilities included business development, sales training, building marketing strategies, ensuring superior customer service, and upskilling teams in time management and sales presentations.

He then moved on to market, promote and operate a family-owned international resort and convention center, Estérel Resort, all the while re-engineering staff procedures and promoting performance improvement. He was also the recipient of the *Grand Prix in Tourism* - Category Innovation which led to several television and radio appearances as well as an article in the well-known National Geographic – The Travellers Magazine.

Michel’s key attributes include versatility and innovation. He is able to generate enthusiasm in others, recognize people’s strengths and essential qualities as well as instill a willingness to participate in a group environment.

Julien is an accomplished professional, excelling in sales and business development, with strong communication and presentation skills. As a competitive figure skater of 15 years, Samantha understands the commitment to excellence needed to succeed. She attained her certification as a figure skating coach and later developed and organized a power skating school to teach skating skills to elite hockey players.

Samantha attended Algonquin College in Ottawa where she studied Theatre Arts. She graduated with honours and went on to work for the Government of Canada implementing and facilitating programs for the City of Ottawa.

Samantha also holds a degree from Concordia University where she received her BA in Human Relations in the department of Applied Human Sciences and graduated with distinction. During this time, she found her passion and excelled in the disciplines of interpersonal relationships, communication, negotiations, group dynamics and group facilitation.

Having grown up and worked in her family's business, Samantha understands how to grow a profitable company and the importance of customer service and employee engagement. Tarina Wagschal has over 13 years experience coaching and facilitating programs to help leaders and teams improve their performance. Tarina has also worked in various industries in corporate HR leadership roles including Pharmaceuticals, Financial,Telecommunications, High-Tech and has over 20 years of experience in the HR and Organizational & Development field.

Tarina has held multiple management positions for more than 10 years at Novartis Canada, a global pharmaceutical company, leading the areas of Training and Development, Organizational Development and Talent Management. Tarina was the recipient of two global awards at Novartis for her outstanding commitment to innovation and excellence in the area of Diversity and Inclusion. She holds a double major in Human Relations and Sociology and additionally holds two Coaching certifications.

Tarina is an expert facilitator and trusted coach who has built her career and expertise on leading and facilitating teams to ensure sustainable high performance and high team engagement. She is certified in multiple leadership and professional tools including DYNAMIX and Team Performance that help leaders increase their overall performance and effectiveness to achieve outstanding results.

Tarina has given many key note speeches on life-work integration and leadership. She is also the co-author of the recently published book “More Life, Please!” co-authored with well-known and sought after Dr. Christian Marcolli whose areas of expertise include working with top worldwide athletes such as Roger Federer.

David Spinner comes to Peak Performance 2 with an extensive multi-disciplinary background well-suited to coaching and supporting team development.

Possessing Bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Social Work as well as a Master of Social Work, he recently graduated from the John Molson School of Business with an MBA.

David worked as a front-line worker in social work for 10 years coaching parents and youth through challenging life situations. He also helped train and develop new employees.

Later, he brought his firsthand knowledge to the academic world as a teacher in the Social Services Department at Dawson College, with an emphasis on communication in social service and group dynamics.

David brings a passion for education as a teacher and as a learner. His presentations are motivating, inspiring and engaging and his focus is on how he can help his clients to achieve and exceed their goals.

Jean has a great deal of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and he helps leaders to make and apply strategic decisions that have a direct impact on their organizations’ success.

Jean has developed a strong expertise in sales and marketing. He worked for medium and large-size pharmaceutical companies such as GSK, Hospira and Sandoz. He also worked in the communication field for advertising agencies specializing in health care.

He was responsible for marketing strategy planning and business development for the Canadian and Latin American markets. In this capacity, he demonstrated his ability to draw up, implement and follow up on strategic plans. Jean was recognized for the quality of his work and he received the Canadian President’s Award.

Jean directed several sales teams and managed implementation of numerous marketing campaigns. In his four years spent in sales management, he led his various teams to winning the President’s Trip three times.

His strategic approach aspires to maintain a deep understanding of internal and external influences that could affect business activities. He is recognized for his analytical capacities and business skills. He is an excellent facilitator and coach and is an engaging and motivating presenter. He has a great deal of experience in the areas of team performance, sales, customer service, communication and strategic planning.

Jean holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce as well as a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

Outside the office, he is a sailing and alpine skiing enthusiast. He spends his free time sailing or skiing with his spouse and two sons at his country cottage in the Laurentians.

Kim Clarke comes to Peak Performance 2 with an extensive background at executive level in Human Resources, Talent Management and Organizational Development.

After completing her Bachelors degree in Law and subsequent Masters Degree in HR and Organizational development, Kim’s career has seen her occupy multiple senior leadership positions in varied industries such as Retail, Engineering, Aerospace and Fast Moving Consumer Goods.

With a corporate career over 20+ years that has seen Kim provide leadership across 4 continents (Europe, Africa, North America, South America) and having directly managed teams across multiple geographies, Kim brings to us a passion and expertise in cross cultural communication and remote -team effectiveness.

With strong people agility,an engaging high energy style coupled with a pragmatic and clear understanding of organizational needs, Kim is a passionate and expert facilitator ready to help your organization and teams meet collective and individual goal.

Monia has a special way of putting people at ease and encouraging them to participate in the classroom. Her listening and facilitation skills are an asset in a multi-generational team. She has 14 years' experience in learning and development, mainly in the pharmaceutical industry.

Monia is also certified to deliver a coaching program and is able to coach a room while facilitating. Her experience varies between entrepreneurship, sales and training in various sectors such as the beverage industry, communications, skin care and the pharmaceutical industry.

Her bilingualism is an asset in supporting learners in their native language. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and fine arts. This allows her to be very balanced and creative in communicating from two different points of view.

Her recent 9-month trip around the world with her family gave her a wide range of experiences. Her favorite experience was the three weeks she spent in the Galapagos Islands.

Vicky recognizes that teamwork has played a key role throughout her life, and is passionate about the benefits of effective communication and collaboration. Many lessons that she learned while training with her twin sister and team of coaches in synchronized swimming, also translate nicely to business. After training together for 21 years, they proudly won the duet silver medal in the Olympics.

With over 25 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Vicky held a number of management positions, leading successful teams in Sales and in Training/Development. Her focus on ensuring both individual and team performance has been key, and as a consultant Vicky shares her experience and insights with her clients.

As a bilingual certified DYNAMIX^ facilitator and coach, Vicky enjoys seeing participants gain enhanced self-awareness regarding their communication preferences. They are then better equipped to adapt their interactions with colleagues more effectively going forward. Feedback over the years highlights that in addition to positive energy in the room, these applied learnings from DYNAMIX^ really stick over time. Vicky helps teams to align and to improve their performance.

Vicky’s educational background includes a B.Comm. from McGill, and as an avid learner, she has earned certifications for a number of programs in leadership, coaching, and training. As an author, she has published articles, chapters and books related to these subjects, infused with key success factors from her sports history. Vicky’s hobbies include scuba diving and photography which she enjoys a great deal, especially when she combines both together.

Peter Tomashewski is a Sales and Marketing Executive with over 30 years of experience leading major international and national businesses in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries. Peter is an excellent speaker, facilitator, coach and advisor, helping teams and organizations to achieve their strategic objectives.

Previously, Peter held various senior leadership roles with Medtronic where he was globally recognized for successfully launching the first commercially available transcatheter heart valve in Canada. Peter also has sales and marketing leadership experience with WorldHeart Corporation, Pharmacia, Pfizer, and Amgen.

Peter completed a Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in Anatomy at McGill University. He received a Master of Business Administration from Queens University where he was awarded the academic prize in Marketing for his focus on early investment and decision modeling in a Medical Technology business. He is a successful speaker at McMaster DeGroote School of Business and has worked with the Queens University Smith School of Business and the University of Ottawa to discuss various subjects related to sales, marketing, communications and team performance.
